Remas Composites are able to produce both in and out of autoclave composite components for a huge variety of applications. From motorsport bodywork to industrial applications, supercar panels to furniture, we are happy to discuss any project big or small. We are equipped to handle production of one off parts or longer production runs.
From our purpose built facility in Daventry, Northamptonshire, we can manufacture parts from CAD drawings or a ‘back on an envelope’ sketch. If you have an existing part that you would like to replicate, we can utilise this as a pattern to mould from.
We also specialise in carbon fibre skinning, where we laminate genuine carbon fibre to an existing component. We have used this technique to customise a number of bespoke supercars, including Ferrari’s, Lamborghinis, Mclarens and more.
Almost all of the components produced at Remas Composites are manufactured using a pre-preg composite material, which in most cases offers the best combination of strength, weight, aesthetics and accuracy. The part will undergo a cure cycle, either in one of our purpose built ovens under vacuum pressure, or in our autoclave depending on the component and its application. We are able to offer data logging of cure cycles for quality control if required. The parts can then be finished in a choice of lacquer or paint finishes, thanks to our extensive in-house paint shop facilities.
